Research

We decided to look specifically at Krav Maga since it’s one of the most practical and straightforward types of self‑defense out there. As we researched it, we realized how much it focuses on real‑life situations and simple moves that anyone can learn, which made the whole idea of self‑defense feel way more approachable. Learning about Krav Maga helped us see the bigger picture too, that self‑defense isn’t just about fighting, it’s about feeling confident, aware, and prepared in everyday life. Many people like it because it makes them feel stronger and more in control, and honestly, that’s something everyone can benefit from.

Krav Maga is a renowned Israeli self-defense system and more than just a collection of techniques. It was created in the late 1930s and 40s by Imi Lichtenfeld in Czechoslovakia and later developed in Mandatory Palestine, which is now Israel. It is based on clear and practical principles that guide how we react to threats in real-life situations. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, understanding the core principles of defense is essential to mastering Krav Maga and applying it effectively under pressure. Krav Maga techniques teach striking vulnerable targets, any place on the body that can not be strengthened, but that can be easily damaged like the throat, eyes and groin.
